Hot Air Balloon Activity- NUR
“Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all others because you were born in it.”
~George Bernard Shaw
On August 15, 1947 India attained freedom from the British Raj after being ruled by them for over two centuries. It was a long freedom struggle and many Indians fought for our country. They fought hard for our country in many different ways, and these heroes are remembered even today for their deeds. Keeping this spirit of patriotism in mind, the little ones of Nursery indulged in a craft activity where they made a tri- colour hot air balloon, indicating Free India. The children enjoyed pasting the paper and the teachers encouraged a discussion on where they would go in it. Even though the children are young, yet an attempt was made to inculcate the feeling of freedom through this activity.
