“Happiness is in the air
Its Diwali everywhere
Let’s show some love and care
And wish everyone out there Happy Diwali!”
Diwali or Deepavali is one of the most significant festivals in India. It is celebrated across the length and breadth of the nation with much fanfare and enthusiasm. Diwali is one of those Indian festivals that unifies different religions, regions, and cultures. It inspires people to believe in the power of good and signifies that no matter how dark the night gets; the light of a single lamp can enlighten one's path.
The corridors of the school were abuzz with the festive spirit and students were engaged in various activities. The little Toddlers and Kindergarteners decorated beautiful diyas and proudly took them home. The Toddlers heard the story of Ramayana and also came dressed as characters from that period to emphasize on their recollection of the story. Students of Grade V presented a special assembly on Diwali- with a very powerful message of ‘Say No to Crackers.’
May the Festival of Lights, Fill Your Life with the Glow of Happiness and the Sparkle of Joy.
