Green Colour Day
“Green is the prime colour of the world and that from which its loveliness arises.”
- Pedro Calderon de la Barca
Nursery class observed ‘Go Green Day’ on 31st July in the school. Children came dressed up in green coloured clothes and enjoyed decorating the green corner in their classroom. They confidently participated in a Show and Tell activity of their favourite green coloured object. Children were made aware of the importance of the colour green in one’s life and the important message of ‘plant more trees’ to Save Mother Earth was imparted. As aptly said by Petra Kelly, “If there is a future, it will be Green.” They enjoyed the ‘Frog Craft’ activity as a takeaway as a memory of the special day.
