Toyota Road Safety
Accidents don’t happen…they are caused.
On 20th January, IHS in association with Toyota Motors organised an event on creating awareness on Road Safety among students. The team from Toyota briefed the students on safety rules and also explained the road signs and what they signify. This was followed by an interactive discussion between the organisers and the children on what causes accidents on the roads.
Post the introductory session, a drawing competition was conducted for students of Grades V- VII and the children made beautiful scenes depicting safety on the road. There were different thoughts presented in the drawings- ranging from road rage, to breaking of rules and also showcased rules to be observed to be safe. The second runners- up was Varun Badlia (V), first runners Up- Tivon Kataria (VII) and the first position was bagged by Somraj Ghosh (VII).
