Story Telling Competition - KG
“If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.”
~ Rudyard Kipling
Story telling at its most basic level is a means of transmitting ideas from one person to another. They help to give meaning to context that would otherwise be a collection of easily forgettable facts. Children have an innate love of stories. Storytelling is a unique way for students to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other cultures, and can promote a positive attitude to people from different lands, races and religions. The little ones of Kindergarten came forward with a lot of confidence and narrated stories based on different characters. Most of them narrated stories that they had heard from their mothers or grandmothers.
