 ‘Writing’ is a pure form of expression. Ancient Mesopotamia is considered the birthplace of writing and with it, the birthplace of recorded history. The students of Grade XI Humanities, enjoyed the writing of Cuneiform Script where it focused on observation skills, critical and logical thinking, creative writing and comprehension covering the guidelines as the NEP. 

The script writing offered an interesting insight into the writing tradition of Mesopotamia.Through this activity, they grasped that writing is vital for the development of urban life, which involves a variety of transactions, important communications, and records.The invention of writing has been critical to human advancement.
