Introduction of letter L in Nursery

Learning the Letter 'L' – A Fun-Filled Adventure!

Our Nursery students were introduced to the letter L through a series of engaging and hands-on activities that sparked both curiosity and creativity!

The little learners explored the sound and shape of the letter L using familiar words like lion, ladybug, leaf, and lamp. To deepen the learning, each child brought objects from home beginning with the letter L, making the experience more personal and meaningful.

As part of our sensory play, students traced the letter L in sand trays, helping them develop fine motor skills while getting comfortable with letter formation.

Blending nature with art, they collected fallen leaves and pasted them on a large cut-out of the letter L—a beautiful way to connect the outdoors with language learning. They also participated in a delightful thumb printing activity, creating vibrant green leaves on a tree, reinforcing the letter's sound through creative expression.

The introduction of the letter L was truly a multi-sensory learning journey, filled with language, art, nature, and play. It was a joy to see our young learners so engaged and excited!

Stay tuned for more joyful learning moments from our vibrant classrooms!
