At Imperial Heritage School, Book Week is more than just a celebration—it’s a journey into the magical world of stories, imagination, and creativity. Through engaging activities, students across all grades are encouraged to explore the joy of reading, express themselves through art and storytelling, and connect with literature in fun, meaningful ways.
Nursery: Enjoyed The Very Hungry Caterpillar and made cute caterpillars using egg trays.
LKG: Created colorful 3D ladybugs inspired by Eric Carle.
UKG: Listened to The Very Busy Spider and made spider crafts using wool and paper plates.
Grade I: Performed moral stories using hand-made puppets and props.
Grade II: Brought favorite book characters to life through 2D/3D crafts and mini-acts.
Grade III: Explored story titles through fun, interactive activities.
Grades IV and V: Played a guessing game to identify incomplete or altered story titles—fun and educational!
Grades VI- VII: Composed and recited poems (haiku, limerick, tanka, etc.)
Grade VIII set up a “Book Shop” to exchange favorite books.
Grades IX and XI: Participated in Collaborative Unfinished Stories, sparking imagination and teamwork.
It was a fun-filled start to a week dedicated to stories, self-expression, and the love of reading.
