EVS Subject Enrichment Activity – Grade II

As part of our ongoing efforts to promote healthy living habits, Grade II students participated in a fun and educational EVS subject enrichment activity on the theme "Our Food."

They enthusiastically explored the concept of healthy and balanced eating. Through engaging class discussions, they learned about different food groups and the importance of choosing the right food for a healthy body. To deepen their understanding, the children created a colourful food pyramid in their notebooks, helping them visually grasp how to categorize foods according to their nutritional value. The excitement didn’t end there! In a delightful “Cooking Without Fire” activity, our young chefs prepared their very own healthy snacks—encouraging creativity, teamwork, and awareness of nutritious choices.

To wrap up the session, a quick recap quiz was conducted using the smart board. Students identified various food items and matched them to their respective food groups—making learning both interactive and impactful!
