Architecture is a visual art

"Architecture is a visual art, and the buildings speak for themselves." – Julia Morgan

Grade VII students explored the grandeur of Indo-Islamic architecture through a creative flashcard trading activity. They showcased features of Delhi Sultanate and Mughal monuments—like domes, arches, minarets, and jalis—learning how these elements reflect cultural fusion and historical legacy. By exchanging flashcards, students engaged in peer learning, developed communication skills, and deepened their appreciation for medieval Indian architecture.

Learning Outcome: Students understood the evolution of Indo-Islamic styles and recognized their lasting influence on modern structures.
