LKG Spotlight: Gg Day Fun at Imperial Heritage School!
This week our enthusiastic LKG learners dove into the magical journey of the letter “Gg” through two hands-on, play based activities:
Grass Pasting on “G”
Using torn grass pieces, our little ones decorated both the uppercase “G” and lowercase “g”—a sensory-rich activity that beautifully reinforced letter shape recognition while boosting fine motor control as they carefully arranged each blade.
Grapes in Clay
Next, the children shaped and molded grapes using clay, then painted them in vibrant purples and greens. This creative exercise not only encouraged imagination and color awareness, but also supported hand eye coordination, strengthening their fine motor skills—and even contributed to gross motor development as they pressed, squished, and rolled the clay.
Together, these fun-filled experiences tied hands-on learning with early literacy concepts—helping students associate “Gg” with both grass and grapes, while growing confidence in crafting and recognizing letters.
A huge shout out to our lovely LKG team for designing such enriching experiences!
