Our enthusiastic Grade I learners dove into the world of action words through a series of fun, hands-on activities!
We kicked things off with the classic game Simon Says, sparking laughter and movement while reinforcing verbs in an exciting way. The learning journey continued with the Action Tree activity—each child chose their favorite action words and pasted them on colorful leaves, creating a beautiful forest of verbs in bloom.
To make it even more meaningful, students performed simple household actions and framed thoughtful sentences using verbs, proudly sharing photos that brought their learning to life.
What made this experience extra special was the curiosity it sparked—they began spotting action words in books, classroom labels, and everyday conversations. It’s clear that once a verb is planted… it truly starts to grow!
