Our enthusiastic UKG explorers set out on a delightful journey into the world of plants through engaging, hands-on activities that sparked curiosity and love for nature.
The adventure began with a nature walk, where children observed a variety of plants, leaves, and flowers. They witnessed the process of germination, watching a tiny seed transform into a plant—learning how sunlight, water, and care help it grow. Through theme board reading, they discovered the parts of a plant and their functions, enriching their vocabulary in a fun, interactive way.
From gardening tasks like planting and watering to sorting plants by colour, shape, and type (flowers, trees, vegetables), every activity was a blend of learning and joy. Creative expressions bloomed too—clay modelling, watercolour painting, and seed art brought their plant knowledge to life.
These experiences not only strengthened their understanding of the plant world but also instilled a deep appreciation for nature and sustainability—lessons that will grow with them.
