Grade I Learns Food Values Through Hands-On Fun!

As part of their exploration of food values, our enthusiastic Grade 1 students engaged in delightful hands-on activities that brought learning to life! 

Fruit Salad Making: Little chefs donned their aprons and teamed up to create colorful fruit salads. While chopping and mixing, they discovered the importance of vitamins, fiber, and natural sweetness found in fruits—making healthy eating both fun and delicious!

Nutrition Value Food Plate: Each child crafted their own food plate, thoughtfully arranging items to represent a balanced diet. From grains and proteins to fruits and vegetables, they learned how each component contributes to a healthy body and active mind.

Food Taste Boul Activity: Grade 1 students had a flavorful adventure during the Taste Bowl activity, eagerly sampling sweet, sour, spicy, and tangy treats. Through this sensory exploration, they joyfully discovered how diverse tastes make food exciting and enjoyable! 

These joyful experiences not only deepened their understanding of nutrition but also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and mindful eating habits. Grade 1 truly served up a feast of learning!
