Class III – EVS Theme: Leaves Around Us

Our curious young learners of Grade III set out on an exciting exploration of the wonders of leaves!  They delved deep into leaf anatomy—discovering the role of veins, stomata, and the fascinating process of photosynthesis, nature’s very own secret recipe for making food.

Students also identified different types of plants, from towering trees to graceful creepers and climbers. To make learning hands-on, they engaged in a leaf shading activity, capturing the unique patterns of leaves with creativity and care.

The highlight of the day was a lively role play—"The Secret Recipe of Photosynthesis"—where our young scientists brought concepts to life through performance and teamwork.

Learning Outcomes: Sharper observation skills, enhanced creativity, collaborative spirit, and a crystal-clear understanding of how plants prepare their food.
