Friendship day is the day when people all around the world celebrate one of the most beautiful relationships in the world, friendship. Though the 65th Session of the United Nations General Assembly declared 30 July as the “International Day of Friendship,” many countries celebrate it every year on the first Sunday of August, including India.
The little ones of Nursery- Grade II celebrated the day with great enthusiasm as they made friendship bands for their friends and friendship cards using beautiful words to describe their friend. Inspite of it being virtual, the deeper feeling of friendship was definitely visible as the children celebrated the spirit of the day.
