Exploring the Power of Attention – Grade XI Psychology

“The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.” – William James

Our Grade XI Psychology students conducted an insightful experiment on the span of attention. The activity revealed how limited human attention can be and how important it is to manage distractions and focus on what truly matters.

Through this hands-on experience, students not only grasped the concept of attention as a measurable psychological construct but also learned how to design and conduct experiments, observe behaviours, record findings, and interpret data.

A wonderful blend of theory and practice — helping young minds understand themselves better while building valuable research skills!
