In our EVS lesson, we introduced the topic “Our Clothes”, where children learnt that clothes not only cover us but also protect us from heat, cold, and rain
During the activity on Textiles and Fabrics, children touched and felt different cloth materials
They compared which fabrics were soft or rough, and understood the difference between man-made fabrics and those we get from plants like cotton and jute.
By the end of the activity, children realised how clothes are made from different sources and how each fabric has a special use in our day-to-day lives like cotton keeping us cool in summer and wool keeping us warm in winter
