At Imperial Heritage School, we believe that sensitising children at a young age is key to building a responsible and caring generation. This World River Day, our little learners celebrated the occasion with creativity and awareness.
Grade I students created vibrant river collages, while Grade II beautifully illustrated the water cycle. To deepen their learning, they also explored river creatures, discovering how rivers are home to diverse life.
Students of Grades III and IV engaged in a vibrant and hands-on activity—making beautiful cutouts of river and sea creatures and artistically arranging them on paper plates to depict aquatic life. This activity not only sparked their creativity but also helped them understand biodiversity, the importance of keeping rivers clean, and their own role in conserving the environment.
Through these joyful yet meaningful experiences, our students expressed imagination, developed awareness, and understood the vital role rivers play in sustaining life. A day full of smiles, learning, and inspiration—reminding us all why it’s so important to celebrate and protect our rivers from the very beginning.
