Students were introduced to the chapter on “Verbs” as action words through a series of engaging and hands-on activities. They enthusiastically cut out action words from newspapers and magazines and pasted them in their notebooks. To strengthen their understanding, they also matched nouns and pronouns with appropriate verbs such as is, am, are, was, were, has, have, and had. Adding an element of fun, students enacted various action words picked from chits, bringing the concept to life. These interactive exercises made learning verbs enjoyable, clear, and memorable.
