Heritage Week-day 4

“If there is one place on the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, it is India.” ~Romain Rolland

Challenges of virtual celebrations remained, and experimentation was the ultimate solution for schools and teachers.  Today was a  day of competitions to remember the rich heritage of this mighty country- students of Grade I had a Patriotic Song Competition whereas the students of Grade II had a Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition. They created virtual images of the patriotic spirit of the country through the slogans and posters. On the other hand, students of Grades VI- IX went back into ages and brought alive the Indus Valley Civilization. Using dough, they created 3D artifacts that were discovered from the city of Mohen- jo- Daro and Harappa and created a virtual museum. Some of them also sketched and painted.
