“The beauty of India lies in the richness of its traditions, history, and craftsmanship.”
This week, students of our school had the opportunity to explore India’s rich cultural heritage through two educational visits. Students of Grades V–VIII visited the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy, where they observed traditional handicrafts, textiles, pottery, and folk art from different regions of the country. The beautifully recreated village huts and craft displays helped them appreciate India’s diverse artistic traditions.
Meanwhile, students of Grades X–XII visited the National Museum for a guided tour. Museum experts introduced them to rare artefacts, ancient sculptures, coins, paintings, and exhibits from the Indus Valley Civilization, helping students connect classroom learning with real historical evidence.
Both visits were highly engaging and enriching, allowing students to develop a deeper appreciation for India’s vibrant culture, art, and history.
Learning beyond the classroom!
