Birsa Munda, a prominent freedom fighter, tribal leader, and social reformer, was born on November 15, 1875. His contributions to India's struggle for independence, particularly in the tribal regions, are celebrated across the country. To honour his legacy, Imperial Heritage School organized a special assembly on his birth anniversary where the students were sensitized about his role and contribution. Students gave a paper presentation about his life history and how he represented the tribal community. Students also watched a documentary detailing the efforts of the various janjatiya freedom fighters.
The event aimed to educate students about Birsa Munda’s life and struggles, and to inspire them to carry forward his values of courage, unity, and social justice. These activities made them aware of the real hero and encouraged patriotism and a sense of national pride among students.
