At IHS, Baisakhi was celebrated with vibrant energy, creativity, and joyful participation. Our Nursery children explored their creativity by making colourful pankha crafts, decorating them with mirrors and flowers, and enjoying lively Punjabi dance. The LKG students added a touch of harvest spirit by creating green grass crafts and bright yellow thumbprint wheat art, followed by cheerful dance performances. Our UKG learners, dressed in festive attire, enthusiastically took part in storytelling and dance, and crafted their own dhols by painting and decorating thermocol glasses.
Similarly, Grade I students showcased their creativity by designing beautiful Baisakhi cards with bright colours, leaf cutouts, and finger painting, making each piece unique and expressive. Meanwhile, Grade II students created vibrant festive scenes with dhols, kites, and golden corn, deepening their understanding of the cultural significance of Baisakhi in a fun and engaging way. From creative crafts to energetic dance performances, every child truly embraced the spirit of the harvest festival, making it a memorable day filled with learning, happiness, and festive cheer.
Happy Baisakhi!
