Environment Day Celebration at IHS

On the occasion of Environment Day, IHS proudly began Environment Week with creative and meaningful activities under the theme “Each One Plant One”, encouraging every student to take a step towards a greener Earth.

Nursery: “Tiny Hands, Big Earth” — our little learners enjoyed fun activities that taught them how small actions can care for our planet.

LKG: “Planet Earth – My Home” — students expressed love for Earth through colorful and creative artwork.

UKG: Eco-friendly tote bag making helped children understand the importance of reducing plastic use.

Classes I–II: Paper plate crafts encouraged students to learn reuse in a fun and creative way.

Classes III–V: “Art for the Earth” — students brought leaves, flowers, and twigs from nature and creatively used them to design beautiful artworks, showcasing how natural materials can be used to express care and love for the Earth.

Classes VI–VIII: Mini Biodiversity Journals helped students explore and observe nature closely.

Classes IX–XII: Senior students conducted an awareness session on “Say No to Plastic”, inspiring younger students to adopt eco-friendly habits.

The celebration was filled with creativity, learning, and awareness, helping students understand their responsibility towards protecting the environment.
