Environment Day 4

Imperial Heritage School celebrated Environment Week with great enthusiasm, where learning met action and creativity

Students across all grades actively participated in a range of engaging activities that promote environmental awareness and responsibility. Our young learners expressed their love for nature through hands-on creations like “Palm to Thumb Tree,” “Leafy Letter Art,” and colourful Environment Day artworks. They also explored sustainability by designing “Trash to Treasure” projects and beautiful Earth models using recycled materials.

Taking a step further, students of higher grades emerged as responsible Water Warriors, conducting a detailed water audit within the school and spreading awareness about water conservation. The week was made even more impactful with powerful nukkad natak performances by students of Grades IX, XI, and XII, highlighting critical issues like pollution, climate change, deforestation, and resource depletion—while also suggesting meaningful solutions.

Activities such as “Time Travel: Earth – Then, Now & Next” and poster-making sessions encouraged students to reflect on the changing state of our planet and envision a greener, more sustainable future.

Through this enriching week, students not only enhanced their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork but also embraced the important message that every small effort counts in protecting our environment
