Exploring Mixtures & Compounds in the Lab

Grade VII students explored the concepts of mixtures and compounds through an engaging chemistry lab activity. They performed a hands-on experiment with iron and sulfur, observing how the two can exist as a mixture and, upon heating, form a compound.

This practical approach helped students clearly understand the difference between mixtures and compounds. The activity made learning enjoyable and meaningful, sparking curiosity about chemistry and its real-world applications. Aligned with NCF and NEP guidelines, it was a wonderful learning experience filled with discovery, excitement, and deeper understanding
