A Meaningful Continuation of Environment Week at IHS

At IHS, the spirit of Environment Week continued with great enthusiasm as students from Grades I to XII participated in a series of inter and intra-class competitions, blending communication skills with environmental awareness.

Our young learners showcased their creativity beautifully—Grades I & II participated in an inter-class poem recitation, filling the atmosphere with confident voices, expressive gestures, and vibrant props. Grades III & IV brought nature to life through “The Voice of the Voiceless,” creatively depicting trees, rivers, and mountains speaking out through impactful visuals and messages. Grade V students impressed everyone with a Sustainable Art Exhibition, presenting innovative creations and thoughtful ideas on protecting our planet.

Middle school students engaged in exciting quiz competitions that deepened their understanding of sustainability and conservation. Senior students from Grades IX - XII explored environmental issues and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through podcast competitions. Grade IX focused on innovative ideas for a better future, Grade X highlighted the theme “Save Environment, Save Future,” Grade XI emphasized key SDGs like climate action, quality education, and gender equality, and Grade XII students collaborated in pairs, presenting thoughtful and creative discussions.

These inter and intra-class competitions nurtured confidence, creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of responsibility towards building a sustainable future.
