An Enriching Cultural Experience

Students of Imperial Heritage School—Vidisha Rathore (Grade X), Aadya Pandey (Grade IX), Bhumi Chugh (Grade VIII), and Avisha Shukla (Grade X)—had the privilege of attending a mesmerizing Kathak recital by Dr. Shovana Narayan on 24 April 2026 at CCA School, Gurugram, under the aegis of SPIC MACAY.

The performance was a beautiful blend of grace, rhythm, and storytelling. With intricate footwork, graceful spins, and expressive abhinaya, the recital brought alive the timeless essence of Kathak, leaving the audience spellbound.

What made the experience even more special was the interactive session, where the artist shared insights into the history, technique, and cultural significance of this classical dance form, inspiring young minds to connect with India’s rich heritage.

The experience proved to be deeply enriching and thought-provoking, nurturing a greater appreciation for Indian classical arts and instilling a sense of pride in our cultural roots.
