“Poetry becomes magical when learning is filled with fun, creativity, and laughter!”
The young learners of Grade III at Imperial Heritage School enthusiastically participated in an engaging English Enrichment Activity based on the wonderful world of Limericks.
The session began with an exciting Picture Talk Activity, where students observed a colourful ice-cream cart and confidently answered questions about the picture, colours, and characters they could see.
Adding rhythm and joy to the classroom, students recited a funny limerick by Edward Lear in chorus, enjoying the playful language, rhyme, and humour of poetry. Their cheerful expressions and energetic participation made the learning experience truly delightful.
The activity concluded with a fun-filled 3D Ice-Cream Craft Activity, where students creatively designed colourful ice cream cones using coloured paper, and cotton balls.
The session beautifully blended language learning with imagination, creativity, speaking skills, and hands-on fun, making poetry an enjoyable experience for every child.
