Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is an Indian Nationalist whose patriotism towards India has left a mark in the hearts of many Indians. He reflected a militant and socialist approach to India's independence movement. Born on January 23, 1897, Subhas Chandra Bose’s patriotism, call for freedom and obdurate refusal to stop before achieving the desired goal have made him a hero, a reputation that has remained intact even after all these years. In order to honour and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation, Government of India has decided to celebrate his birthday on the 23rd day of January every year as “PARAKRAM DIWAS” to inspire people of the country, especially the youth, to act with fortitude in the face of adversity as Netaji did, and to infuse in them a spirit of patriotic fervour.
Today, on 125th birth anniversary of the India’s formidable freedom fighter, to show the gratitude our students participated in Show and Tell on the famous leader and remembered his famous slogans like 'tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe aazadi dunga', 'Jai Hind', and 'Delhi Chalo'.
May the thoughts and ideals of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose keep inspiring us to work towards building an India that he would be proud of...a strong, confident and self-reliant India, whose human-centric approach contributes to a better planet in the years to come.
