At IHS, we believe that great learning begins with great teachers. Today, our faculty members participated in an enriching professional development workshop led by Dr. Gaurav Kapoor, an Education Domain Specialist, AI Expert, and School & Skill Development Consultant.
The session focused on integrating STEAM education, NEP 2020, 21st-century skills, and Project-Based Learning (PBL) into everyday classroom practices. Teachers explored innovative pedagogies, inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary lesson planning, and practical ways to nurture creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving among students.
The highlight of the workshop was the hands-on collaborative activity, where teachers worked in teams to design and present a one-day interdisciplinary lesson plan by incorporating the concepts and strategies learned during the session. Each presentation reflected thoughtful planning, innovation, and a shared commitment to creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences.
The workshop served as a wonderful platform for exchanging ideas, reflecting on teaching practices, and strengthening our vision of preparing learners who are curious, confident, and future-ready.
At IHS, learning is not limited to students—our educators continue to learn, grow, and innovate so they can inspire the next generation every single day.
Together, we are shaping classrooms where curiosity leads, creativity flourishes, and every lesson becomes an opportunity to explore, innovate, and grow.
