Magnetic Minds at Work: Hands-on Learning in Science!

Our Grade VI students enthusiastically participated in an engaging Science Subject Enrichment Activity on the Properties of Magnets. Through hands-on experiments, they discovered that the maximum magnetic strength lies at the poles, observed how like poles repel while unlike poles attract, and explored the working of a magnetic compass to identify directions. They also used the magnetic properties of substances to make a 'dancing snake"

The activity sparked curiosity, encouraged scientific thinking, and made learning enjoyable as students explored concepts through observation and experimentation. Such experiential learning is perfectly aligned with the NEP 2020 and NCFguidelines, fostering inquiry, critical thinking, and joyful learning.
