Imperial Heritage School celebrated Book Week with a special assembly that beautifully highlighted the timeless importance of books and the joy of reading.
The assembly commenced with the Gayatri Mantra, invoking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by the School Song, reflecting the spirit and values of the IHS family.
The highlight of the programme was a powerful skit, "Books vs Screens – The Choices That Shape You," which encouraged students to strike a healthy balance between technology and reading. Through engaging performances, the students showcased how books nurture imagination, creativity, empathy, and critical thinking, reminding everyone that every page turned opens the door to new possibilities.
Adding to the literary charm, Anupriya and Krishang presented a heartfelt poem celebrating the magic of books, followed by a vibrant dance performance that beautifully reflected the joy of learning, storytelling, and creativity.
The assembly also celebrated excellence as Olympiad achievers and the winners of the North & East India Taekwondo Championship were felicitated for their outstanding accomplishments, inspiring their peers to pursue excellence in both academics and sports.
During her inspiring address, our respected Principal Ma'am spoke about the lifelong value of reading and encouraged students to make books their constant companions. She also proudly acknowledged the students representing Imperial Heritage School in the Student Exchange Programme to South Korea, appreciating their achievement and motivating the rest of the students to dream big, embrace global opportunities, and continue striving for excellence.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to celebrate the power of books, the pursuit of knowledge, and the spirit of achievement.
