Tracing the Legacy of Pharaoh Tutankhamun!

Tracing the Legacy of Pharaoh Tutankhamun!

As part of the English Subject Enrichment Activity, students of Grade XI embarked on an exciting journey into ancient Egyptian history by designing creative flowcharts depicting the family lineage of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

Through research and visual storytelling, students explored the fascinating relationships within the Egyptian royal family—including Tutankhamun’s parents, grandparents, wife, and successors. Their thoughtfully designed flowcharts transformed complex genealogical information into an engaging and easy-to-understand visual narrative.

The activity encouraged students to look beyond the textbook, conduct independent research, organise information logically, and communicate their findings creatively. It also deepened their understanding of Tutankhamun’s ancestry by connecting historical evidence, archaeological discoveries, and DNA analysis.

This interdisciplinary learning experience beautifully integrated English, History, and Art, while nurturing critical thinking, research skills, creativity, collaboration, and effective presentation skills.

Learning history, connecting the evidence, and bringing the past to life—one creative idea at a time!
