Exploring the Age of Reorganisation!

“History is the story of change, and every change shapes the journey of a civilisation.”

As part of their Subject Enrichment Activity, students of Grade VII embarked on an exciting journey through The Age of Reorganisation, exploring the significant political, social and cultural developments that followed the decline of the Mauryan Empire.

Through engaging presentations, students explored the emergence of regional kingdoms and prominent dynasties such as the Shungas, Satavahanas and Kushanas, along with the important kingdoms of South India.

They also discovered the remarkable growth of trade, literature, art and architecture during this period, gaining a deeper appreciation of India’s rich historical legacy and diverse cultural traditions.

The activity provided students with a meaningful platform to research, organise information, communicate ideas and present their learning with confidence. It nurtured research skills, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and effective presentation skills.

Learning from the past, understanding change, and connecting with India’s magnificent heritage!
