Grade IX-A | Special Assembly

“Freedom is our pride, heritage is our identity, and the youth are the torchbearers of India’s future.”

Grade IX-A hosted a vibrant Special Assembly celebrating India’s Independence Day alongside Heritage Week, beautifully weaving together the values of patriotism, unity, courage, responsibility, and pride in our rich cultural legacy.

The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, followed by the National Anthem, Gayatri Mantra, Thought for the Day, Dolly and School Prayer, setting a solemn and patriotic tone for the occasion.

A special highlight was the felicitation of Mr. Sumit Kumar, former IPL player, whose inspiring presence encouraged students to dream big and pursue excellence with dedication, discipline, and determination.

The patriotic spirit continued with a soulful Patriotic Song and a thought-provoking skit on the importance of Independence for the young generation, reminding students that freedom comes with responsibility.

Adding a heritage touch to the celebrations, an engaging Heritage Quiz challenged students’ knowledge of India’s glorious history, traditions, monuments, and cultural treasures.

The assembly concluded with an energetic Patriotic Dance Performance, leaving everyone filled with renewed pride for our nation and a deeper commitment to cherish, celebrate, and preserve India’s timeless heritage.

The assembly concluded with the Principal Ma’am’s inspiring and motivating words, encouraging students to value the freedom they enjoy, uphold their responsibilities as citizens, and carry forward India’s rich heritage with pride, respect, and a strong sense of purpose.

Proud of our past. Responsible for our present. Ready to shape India’s future.
