Multiplication in Action – GradeII

Grade II students embarked on an engaging journey to strengthen their understanding of Multiplication!

The session began with a quick recapitulation through an interactive PPT, followed by a discussion on different ways to understand multiplication. The concept was then brought to life through Repeated Addition, helping students understand multiplication as equal groups added together.

To make learning even more hands-on, students created a Multiplication Array in their notebooks. They drew objects in rows and columns and wrote the corresponding multiplication sentences, making the concept clear and visual.

Through these engaging activities, students developed a strong conceptual understanding of multiplication and confidently solved the given notebook sums.

Through these hands-on experiences, students strengthened their conceptual understanding of multiplication and developed greater accuracy and confidence in solving multiplication problems.
