Grade IV Math Subject Enrichment Activity

Our Grade 4 learners turned mathematics into a fun, hands-on learning experience through an engaging Factor Tree Activity! Students chose any two numbers of their choice and created factor trees to break them down into their prime factors. Once their factor trees were ready, they used their understanding of factors to find the HCF and LCM of the chosen numbers.
This activity helped students strengthen their understanding of prime factorisation, factors, HCF and LCM while developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning.

The freedom to choose their own numbers made the activity even more exciting and encouraged students to explore mathematics independently. Learning, creating, and discovering—that’s the joy of mathematics!
