From a tiny bottle to a big lesson!

On River Day, our young learners turned simple transparent bottles into miniature river ecosystems through an engaging hands-on activity — “River in a Bottle.”

Using pebbles, sand, twigs, leaves and water, students creatively recreated the beauty of a clean river while also exploring how pollution can affect our precious water bodies.

The activity was not just about creativity; it encouraged observation, imagination and environmental awareness. Through learning by doing, children discovered how rivers support life and how our actions can either protect or harm these vital lifelines. The contrasting river bottles beautifully conveyed a simple yet powerful message — a clean river sustains life, while a polluted river threatens it.

It was wonderful to see our little learners understand that protecting rivers is not just a responsibility for the future, but one we all share today.
