To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, our young learners from Nursery to Grade II explored the inspiring life, values, and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi through a range of creative and engaging craft activities.
Our little learners participated in age-appropriate activities:
Our young learners from the early years participated in creative activities to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti. Nursery created beautiful sponge-painted shadow art of Gandhiji using popsicle sticks. LKG made a colourful representation of India through tricolour earbud printing and also created shadow art of Mahatma Gandhi using ice-cream sticks. UKG explored Gandhiji’s message of “See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil” through a fun and engaging moving monkey craft.
Grade I and Grade II explored Gandhiji’s legacy through creative craft activities. Grade I created colourful Charkhas using paper strips, yarn, and buttons, along with writing three lines about Gandhiji. Grade II made beautiful Charkhas using ice-cream sticks, colourful buttons, and yarn, and complemented their artwork with beautifully drawn National Flags.
These hands-on activities beautifully blend creativity, learning, fine-motor skills, patriotism, and meaningful values, helping our young learners connect with the timeless legacy of Bapu in a fun and memorable way.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
