Empathy in Action | SEWA Initiative at IHS
As part of the SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action) initiative under CBSE guidelines, students of Classes IX and XI of Imperial Heritage School visited The Earth Saviours Foundation, Bandhwari, Gurugram, on 23 October 2026.
The visit was a meaningful journey of compassion, connection, and learning. Through interactions with the residents and staff, our students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the elderly, homeless individuals, and those experiencing mental health challenges.
Extending the spirit of Caring and Sharing Week, students also contributed donations, spreading the message that kindness is best expressed through thoughtful action.
The experience reinforced the values of empathy, dignity, social responsibility, and selfless service, reminding our young learners that true education goes beyond textbooks—it nurtures hearts, builds character, and inspires us to make a difference.
At IHS, we believe in nurturing not just successful learners, but also compassionate and responsible citizens.
