FANBOYS in Action | A Fun Grammar Activity – Grade VI

Students of Grade VI participated enthusiastically in an engaging activity on FANBOYS conjunctions—For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet and So. Divided into seven groups, they raced against time to create meaningful sentences using their assigned conjunctions. 

The classroom buzzed with excitement as students collaborated, shared ideas and enjoyed healthy competition. The activity strengthened their understanding of coordinating conjunctions while enhancing sentence construction, vocabulary, creative thinking and communication skills.

In alignment with CBSE’s competency-based and experiential learning approach, this hands-on activity encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, peer learning and the practical application of grammar rules, making learning interactive, enjoyable and meaningful!
